1Open Nala Notifications
In the side menu, select General administrator. Then, under Customization and styles, open Nala Notifications.
Path: General administrator → Nala Notifications
2Find the email you want to configure
The Emails tab contains all communications available to your company. The chips at the top filter notifications by module; they show the modules that are active for the company.
You can use View all, select one or more modules, or search for a communication by name. The switches indicate whether each notification is active.
3Edit a specific communication
Find the communication and select Edit template. Choose the language you want to modify and review these fields:
- Email subject: the text the recipient sees in their inbox.
- Header image: the header used only for this communication.
- Email body: the main content of the communication.
- Email footer: the footer used only for this communication.
A header and footer saved in an individual template take priority over General settings and Nala's default design.
- Individual templateHighest priority
- General settingsUsed when the email has not been individually customized
- Nala designUsed when there are no customizations
4Define General settings
Return to the Nala Notifications list and open the General settings tab. There you can configure:
- Sending email mask or name: customize the name recipients will see, such as companyname-nala or companytalent. This does not change the system sender, which will always be Nalabot.
- General header image and general footer image: these apply to every email that does not have a header or footer customized in its own template.
Every time you edit a template in the Emails tab, click “Save”. You can then send a test email.
The test is sent only to the user who selected the button: it is not sent to everyone, and additional recipients cannot be added.
When editing templates, make sure each header and footer image is no larger than 2 MB.
Before you finish
- Confirm that you are editing the correct email and language.
- Review the subject, content, and images.
- Click Save.
- Send the test email and check how it looks. It will be sent only to the email address of the user performing the test: additional email addresses cannot be added, and it will not be sent to a larger audience.
